Through the IBIR Directory, buyers can access business listings, download structure reports, track changes in business status, and request reviews where additional transparency is required.
These tools support procurement teams seeking greater clarity when engaging Indigenous suppliers.
The IBOS Standard for non-Indigenous businesses operating in and with the Indigenous business space is currently in development.
IBIR is the only platform that combines CPA-governed corporate scrutiny with Elder-guided cultural legitimacy assessment. Where other verification systems assess paperwork, IBIR assesses governance.

Procurers can search the IBIR Business Directory to view Indigenous business listings across industries and regions.
Listings may include:

This provides a central reference point for organisations engaging Indigenous suppliers.
Access Business Structure Reports
Downloadable reports provide deeper insight into business ownership, governance arrangements, and partnership structures.
These reports help procurement teams better understand how a business operates and how Indigenous participation is structured.
Reports can be downloaded directly from the directory or requested if they are unavailable (see below).
Request a Public Business Structure Report
A Public Business Structure and Credit Report can be requested on demand.
This report provides a deeper structured analysis of ownership arrangements, governance frameworks, and Indigenous participation.
Requests can be submitted confidentially and, once completed, the report can be securely downloaded.
Please note: the report may be added to the IBIR Business Directory to support broader transparency.
Funds generated by IBIR are directed to projects undertaken by the Indigenous Business Council (IBC), a registered not-for-profit organisation.
