IBIR congratulates its Strategic Advisor, the Hon. Ken Wyatt AM JP, on his appointment as Adjunct Professor of Practice at the University of Western Australia's Public Policy Institute.
The announcement, made by UWA on 19 May 2026, recognises Ken's extraordinary contribution to Australian public life - including his historic role as the first Indigenous Australian elected to the House of Representatives and Australia's first Minister for Indigenous Australians.
Ken has been a valued member of the IBIR advisory team, bringing deep expertise in governance, policy design, and Indigenous economic leadership to our work. This appointment further reflects his enduring commitment to shaping policy outcomes that support inclusive growth and lasting benefit for future generations.
